I found a statistic for arable land (albeit in hectares, so it needs converting) and changed out agricultural land that was previously in km. Each page has space for lecture notes and calculating the different types of density. There are dynamic QR codes linked to World Bank data sets and to my online human Geography Illustrated Text. Each density category is labeled with a letter that corresponds to its type (which they can also color-code). You can print these large and have classes work in groups or print for individuals.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"butq9-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"butq9-0-0\">Goal: Remember that a goal is to have students understand how spatial data can help us solve real-world problems. When they are able to calculate densities themselves, they are able to see better spatial patterns, no matter the variable.
