This extremely detailed map of the 2016 election shows voter percentages using a CHOROPLETH map. VOTER PRECINCTS are depicted in shades of red and blue with detailed data when hovered. What I like about this map is that you can see if the precinct is in its own voting “bubble.” It will tell you approximately how long a drive it takes to get to the nearest precinct which voted the same way. Take a peak at your precinct. Are you in a bubble? What does it tell you about your precinct or state? Ask your students why they believe their precinct voted the way it did compared to a different shaded precinct within the area.Voter Precinct Image
