If you’re eager to show your students how GIS is applied to real jobs and the real world, this is a great story map created by ESRI. Students scroll through to see how a market analyst team ranks potential sites and uses that information to conclude. I remind my students that these are real jobs, real problem-solving jobs that use maps!

This is a good worksheet to use in the Intro unit (GIS, site, and situation), during Economic Development, or on any emergency sick day. Students need a smart device to access the QR codes with their cameras.

    Hi Human Imprint! ArcGIS has now retired this, and “replacement is not available.”
