From the Social Progress Imperative, a global not-for-profit out of Washington D.C., comes a nice interactive that allows users to see their social progress index visually presented. The social progress index aligns nicely when talking about the Sustainable Development Goals.

You can explore the choropleth map and or choose a single country to view it’s scorecard.

What is great is that users can see each indices and see how each element is scored.

You can also view the list of indices and a justification for their use, along with the the measures used to calculate the index.

Finally, users might enjoy the country comparison tool where they can choose three for comparison on a line graph.

If you want to check out the CEO, Michael Green, of the Social Progress Initiative and his thoughts on the use and value of the index, check out his TED Talk.
