You know what they say… an apple a day, keeps the doctor away.

So I’m doing my part to keep ’em inside with FRQ’s!

I wrote original FRQ-styled review questions, centered around each, independent course topic (Unit 1-5). I tried my best to tie each FRQ topic with their corresponding course skills, and with the Big Ideas in mind. I also did my best to use as many stimuli as I could creatively think. Images are linked to their original sources so that you can copy/paste/size/edit to your needs. In some cases, I needed to make multiple FRQs for each topic because the FRQ would have made no sense. But if you have a suggestion for a rewrite or addition, please leave a comment on the doc. I did my best.

My request is that if you use any of these to inspire your lessons, please contribute to the 3rd column with editions or edits (the rubrics).

For the remainder of our extended break, I plan to complete the last unit of the course with my students reading AMSCO and supplementing with my favorite videos and maybe a group chat for solidarity. Everything is posted on our LMS (Schoology). After that, I am tasked with holding the students accountable for checking in once per day (I will use a Google Form) and having them respond to my original FRQs. The next morning, I will record who responded and post the rubric for them to self-assess with a grade. This is all we can do. Their motivation is now the AP exam.

Writing these FRQs took me 5 days and about 8 pots of coffee, so you will forgive me for not having the rubrics made, or minor errors. But, I would LOVE it if we collaborated and brainstormed the responses together. What a bonding opportunity!   🙂  PLEASE!
